I had the pleasure of seeing again my dear friend Jemilah and interviewing her before she goes to the COP30 meeting in Belem, Brazil. #COP30 Dr Jemilah Mahmood is a world expert on health issues associated with climate change and is the Executive Director of the Subway Centre of Planetary Health in Malaysia. Very important messages for health implications for Cyprus.

Εγώ από την ανακοίνωση υπογραμμίζω ότι στην Κύπρο:

Το μερίδιο πλούτου του πλουσιότερου 1% στον συνολικό εθνικό πλούτο, αυξήθηκε σημαντικά από περίπου 12,8% το 2000 σε πάνω από 33% το 2023. Αυτό συνιστά ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα ποσοστιαία άλματα στην Ευρώπη και στον κόσμο.

Επανειλημμένως επισήμανα ότι ανασχηματισμός μέρες πριν την Προεδρία είναι 👎 γιατί δεν άφησε χρόνο προετοιμασίας.
Π.χ. παράδειγμα «εφιαλτικών διαπραγματεύσεων» που θα κληθεί η Κύπρος να φέρει σε πέρας σύμφωνα με το #Politico με Γερμανία-Γαλλία να διαφωνούν
